Creatıng AI-Integrated Materıals and Lesson Plans: A Collaboratıve Journey

 This week, my friends Elif, İrem, Meryem, and I worked on a fascinating project: creating AI-integrated material and a lesson plan. We were tasked with designing an innovative activity, and our goal was to merge technology with engaging classroom content.

First, we chose a topic from the curriculum guide published by the Ministry of National Education (MEB). The "Celebrity" topic caught our attention, as we believed it would resonate well with students. With this idea in mind, we began designing our material on Canva.

Our aim was to encourage students to use AI tools and become more familiar with technology. To achieve this, we introduced them to Magic School, an AI platform, where they could create a virtual interview with their favorite celebrity. We provided detailed instructions on how to log in and use the platform. Students were tasked with imagining themselves as journalists, crafting interview questions, and creating engaging dialogues with their chosen celebrity.

To ensure our lesson plan was comprehensive and effective, we followed the ASSURE model, which focuses on analyzing learners, stating objectives, selecting media and materials, utilizing media, requiring learner participation, and evaluating results. This framework helped us structure the activity clearly and collaboratively.

The entire process was both creative and rewarding. We successfully combined AI, creativity, and curriculum requirements, offering students a dynamic and interactive learning experience. Working as a team made the task even more enjoyable, as each of us contributed unique ideas and perspectives.

This project reminded me of the importance of collaboration and the incredible potential of AI in education. I'm excited to see how students engage with this activity and how it enhances their learning journey!
